Watch out! It's a long list! Here's the FileCount/CharacterName/Duration, according to the FM Towns audio files.

Ultima VI has 4.5 hours of dialogue lines. For comparison Skyrim has 20 hours. To be totally clear, I'm not saying Skyrim is better because it's bigger. I'm just giving measurements for educational purposes. In fact, Ultima VI's length is really solid, and I've never finished a Skyrim run, whatever that says, though I love both games. Ultima VI being about 1/4 the scope of Skyrim feels accurate - all that while being 20 years earlier! It would be cool to see the other ultima games compared as well if those game have FM towns versions.

These are ordered from fewest files to most files. For non-speaking characters, the line is usually one of your party members explaining verbally that they cannot speak.

Also, for FM Towns, some of the keyword response texts are broken into several audio lines that play sequentially, so there will be more files than keywords for each character. Also, in some cases unused audio takes exist, and that will affect the length and filecount as well.

These are arranged lowest filecount character to highest, regardless of length.

For some reason, Lord British is missing from this list, but I'm pretty sure I remember he is one of the longest, at about 78 files and like 7 minutes of dialogue. I don't know why he's missing here, and I'll restore him here when I get the chance. It would also be cool if the user could sort these in several ways. I'llAddStuffHere.
