A Modern Take On Thievin' in Ultima VI

All the sneaky thieving in this vid takes me back to my Ultima VI days. And Skyrim pickpocketing. I wish there was a way to have a more skill-based pickpocketing system than Skyrim does, though.

In Ultima VI you could steal pretty much anything except immovable furniture. If I remade Ultima VI I'd allow you to steal furniture as well. And heck... what about stealing plots of land or squatting in abandoned buildings and fixing them up? And what about fixing up buildings then selling them or allowing people without housing to move in, thus increasing your karma in a very legit way? Could be pretty cool. I'd do this kind of thing even without a karma reward, as I love to do Robin Hood style gameplay (steal from the rich and mean and give to the poor.) Why not?
