What is missing or incorrect now? What is "Shipwreck Isle" south of Janus Isle? What is "Ice Cap Isles" near Terfin? The Isle of the Avatar "is a volcano". Does this mean the shrine to the south, or the building to the north, is in the center of the volcano?
If something was excluded in my map, it's most likely because I forgot or didn't know about it, so I may want to add it if it's mentioned! From version 1 to version 2 I've added LOTS of labels for places and rivers, etc. that I didn't even know about!
PS. I added something controversial because everyone should be at the party!
That's pretty cool. How it "jaggles" up the Britannian area is worth checking out, as the current map is a bit squished into the square shape of the image. Also, it would be cool to develop the other landmasses as well, though I think it's smart for me to limit it to Britannia for now to ensure I don't get overwhelmed with the process. Since U6 britannia is the most relevant for me, if I can get that right, I'll know I'm on the right track.

This is weird because I remember in Dungeon Keeper 1 something like that happening to me where there was a tiny air block in between bedrock in the upper left of some levels, and when I used the special item to dispel the fog of war I could see those corners and drop imps in there and they couldn't do anything but kind of sit there. Memorable and weird.

That's my goal with #AgeofSingularitygame. Something relaxing that may not even involve combat as it would be the most complicated thing to program, But includes other activities you would expect from an ultima game like churning butter haha.

In my true world map if I make it in 3D, I do plan to space everything out more for this reason. It will be down to feel, as in, how big should Buccaneer's Den be from the coast of Britain, etc. But yeah, this is true. My process is that I traverse the world in first person, and I scale things to feel right, whether they should feel big or small, near or far. And that happens several times through development; an empty field with mountains feels very different in size, to one populated with scaled grass, trees, buildings, so it's an iterative process for sure, and there may very well be more spacing between the islands as things progress.
Update (2024-09-09):
I've since adjusted the scale of Britannia from this original 1024x1024m~ size to 3072x3072m~ size. This makes more wilderness around Britain under the Serpent's Spine, for example, for forests, paths, and farmland. It may be adjusted further, though I really like the idea of vast natural spaces between the more focused towns so you can actually travel the paths if you want to and rest on the side of the road, etc. Since there will also be special settings to adjust how capable the Orb of the Moons is, you could potentilaly even play the game without it, and travel the world on foot or horseback, etc.
Here's the original fb UDIC post.
