Bones Wanted

A handsome young pirate with long hair standing near some candles in a dungeon.

A pirate, Nathaniel Moorehead.

I'm compiling a list of every pile of bones object, and every grave plot, in Ultima VI, along with their general locations and headstone texts if applicable. I wonder if that cover all the "unseen/past people" in the game, or if there are more. For example, a person being cooked on a cyclops spit or somewhere, or characters mentioned but never met by the avatar in the game?

The reason is that I'm concepting characters for my Age Of Singularity Ultima VI fan project and want to include every dead character as well, just in case they can be resurrected. I've already completed the first draft of all the women, kids, and unseen people. There are about 40 women and about 120 men, which makes me wonder if I should gender-swap characters to make it even, haha.

Captain Hawkins.

As far as "unseen people" go, for example, this post has concepts for the pirates Nathaniel Moorehead, Captain Hawkins, Beyvin, and Morwin.

Beyvin, a pirate.

These were made with Stable Diffusion+ControlNet+the Protogenv2.2 Anime model, nevermind the inconsistencies from angle to angle, which will be corrected with the second pass. I also hope to eventually make an album of all characters for people to peruse and give notes on, for another pass to correct them further.

"This can probably be done by writing a script to search the statics for any entry of type 83 (53 hex). I do not have a u6 installation at hand but I think you will have to do some conversion if you want sextant coordinates; iirc those files are stored per superchunk, which I think means that the offsets in the file are relative to the superchunk in question, but I am not sure about this."

I fully plan to write or generate character with names and dialogue for every pile of bones in the original Ultima VI game, so they can be resurrected given the right conditions. I've loved this idea ever since I played Eye of the Beholder, in which you can actually have piles of bones resurrected to become new party members.

Here's the original fb UDIC post.
