What I really want to do for my Age Of Singularity Ultima VI Fan Recreation Project is this: instead of having a bunch of virtue questions, these are legit side quests you can encounter and actually choose which path to take, thus upgrading that stat. And you can know ahead of time (or not) which stat reward you'll get, which we already know affets people's choices in these games.
Why merely have the player do a multiple choice quiz, when you could actually have them DO these things in the world? In Ultima V this happened in some cases where you could LIVE the choice, instead of it just being text on a screen. But I also agree the choices need to be balanced and non-judgmental with each answer being worthy.
And for quests where you would play a role that isn't you (an artist, etc.) you could enter the tarot cards and experience that event from their perspective. Kind of like in Butterfly Effect, going into old videos. Considering this is a system I'm alraedy developing for my main game #NotSSgame, it will be trivial to implement here.
