Nodes and Berridex |

Attachable item and scanning systems.
The node system and the Berridex. If a node is
powered by a battery or other energy system,
then nearby nodes become active and can transfer
electricity to plugged in objects. The idea is
that the cables are hidden under the ground or
in the wall and require no rigging. The Berridex
is a system that will allow you to scan or
capture stats from creatures, NPCs, animals,
plants, areas, etc. and display them on a
screen, and save them on hard drives.
This already works for displaying the data, up
to 5 pages in length. Now I just need to
implement “capturing” the data, which won’t be
too hard. There will also be an Element Scanner,
which will allow you to distill element cubes
from items in the world, allowing you to collect
all the Elements from the Periodic Table, and
use them to make complex constructions. This is
all still very early in development.
