A New 3D Earthbound |

I wish this existed.
NOTE from 2021: this is basically what inspired
#NotSSGame.
Imagine if Earthbound was remade to look like
this. I rebuilt the team as best as I could
just to see. Smash Brothers models aside, these
town pieces (Simple Town by Synty Studios on the
Asset Store) are getting repainted to feel
awesome (minus dead yellowish foliage color and
dark grey buildings and roofs). Scaling
environments to 0.082 makes for a perfect
virtual reality 3rd person gaming setup. (People
are about 10 inches tall).)
You’ll be able to dynamically switch between
first person and third person views in many
situations. I long to make an Earthbound-like
environment to roam around in, and now I’m
getting the tools to do so. I also have a farm
environment for Harvest Moon-like adventures,
but it’s not repainted yet.
